Compline
On first and third Sundays of each month, at 7:00 p.m., teens and adult leaders gather for pizza around long tables in the Mizpah Conference Room. After 30 minutes of food and lively conversation, the group begins preparation for the Compline service; sung and spoken solos are assigned, candles are lit, and the prayer list is collected. At 8:00 the group enters the Sanctuary and sings Psalms, prays ancient prayers, and reads scripture.
Compline members are singers and non-singers alike; they are people of great faith and people with lots of doubts and questions. The service is sung twice a month in sanctuaries at Ginter Park and other churches and at libraries and coffee shops. All are welcome.
