Adult Choir
Ginter Park Presbyterian Church has an exceptional adult choir. This group of all ages is strongly committed to leading worship, caring deeply for its members, and singing from an extraordinarily broad spectrum of music. An anthem for a given Sunday might be a 17th-century German motet, a text-less Indian folksong, a Black Gospel hymn, or, on occasion, a piece of popular music. In addition, the choir sings a short introit, newly composed for the upcoming worship service by Doug Brown.
The choir is always open to new members. All are welcome to attend rehearsals on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 9:00, September through May. During summer months the choir practices at 9:15 on Sunday mornings.
