Carla
Pratt Keyes, Pastor
Carla Pratt Keyes began her ministry at Ginter Park Presbyterian church on May 14, 2007. She was drawn to Ginter Park’s ministry of hospitality, embodied in its worship, witness, and fellowship - a life characterized by playfulness and wonder. She continues to rejoice at the opportunity of serving God in the midst of this diverse body of believers, sharing GPPC’s aim to “find in God’s Spirit a prod to our imagination, a shock to our laziness, and a source of power to take more risks in building a committed community of faith.”
Carla was born in Virginia, but moved from place to place growing up as part of a Navy family. She received her B.A. in History and International Relations from the College of William and Mary and her M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. After a year of post-graduate study in the U.K. and a nine-month residency as a hospital chaplain, Carla was ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacrament as Associate Pastor of University Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge, LA. She served there four years as the Associate and one year as the Interim Pastor, then moved with her husband Brint (also a Presbyterian minister) and two children (Deborah and Elijah) to Atlanta. Carla served as the Interim Associate Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Covington, GA, then as Associate Pastor of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Tucker, GA, before accepting the call from Ginter Park Presbyterian Church.
When she isn’t working, Carla enjoys exploring Richmond and Williamsburg with her family, swimming, practicing yoga, reading, writing, and creating or admiring things of beauty.

Faith Williams is a third-year seminary student at Union-PSCE. She
completed her Master of Christian Ed. degree in May and is continuing
on to earn a Master of Divinity with pastoral ministry in view. Faith’s
undergraduate degree was in Elementary Education, and she had been
a school teacher for many years with a mission agency. Her first

and did mission work on the side. Now Faith looks forward to
her internship here at Ginter Park, and anticipates rich growing
experiences with our congregation as she prepares for new types of
