Awareness Lessons: Rolling Into Spring

With slow and gentle attention we will work out the kinks and lighten our step and reduce our aches. Join us in GPPC Fellowship hall at 10 am. Bring a mat or large towel and your curiosity to see how you can roll into easier movement.Lessons will be taught by Mary Frances Hobbs, a registered Feldenkrais teacher.  The cost for all six classes is $40 or $10 for any individual class.  (Four other classes in this series will be held on April 10, 12, 17 and 19 at 10:00 am.)

Church School: Embracing Interfaith Cooperation

This video/journal class fearues interfaith commentator Eboo Patel as he explores what it means to be “literate” about other faiths, how interfaith cooperation “works” and why, the skills needed for interfaith cooperation and the significant role that our institutions, including colleges and faith communities, can play in this process.  The class will be held in the chapel and you can read more about it HERE.

Feasibility Study Focus Group Meeting

We need your input! You will soon receive an invitation to join a focus group and hear about a plan that has been developed to plan for priorities and renovations to our building. Our time together will give you the opportunity to provide feedback and guidance for Session and the planning teams.  We encourage EVERYONE to attend ONE of these important conversations about the future of GPPC’s buildings and how we can enhance accessibility, extend our welcome, improve our Fellowship Hall, shelter the saints of the church, and maintain and protect the gifts that are our facilities.

RISC Nehemiah Action

Richmonders Involved to Strengthen our Communities (RISC) has its annual Nehemiah Action on May 1  at St. Paul’s Baptist Church. RISC’s power is in numbers, so your presence will make a difference – this year, and in years to come. GPPC hopes at least 120 of us will attend. PLEASE COME! . Registration begins for the Nehemiah Action at 6:15pm; the meeting starts promptly at 7pm.
